Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and the team members of her Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals have a reason to celebrate. BCCI's decision to terminate the team has been stayed by the arbitrator appointed to handle the issue.
And basking in the glorious development is RR owner Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her team captain Shane Warne. Sharing her excitement on a microblogging site, Shilpa said, "Just landed from Bangkok and thrilled to bits with the news of the stay order in favour of RR. I am awaiting full arbitration process to be completed."
Shilpa further said that she had complete faith in the Judiciary and is glad that she hasn't been let down. Rajasthan Royals captain Warnie too couldn't hide his happiness and exclaimed, "Common sense prevails, Royals back! It's great to be back in IPL. I am so excited. I'm looking forward to playing in IPL 4 and with the support of the fans we will be a force."
Talking about IPL 4 auction plans, Shane told Shilpa, "Now to plan for auction! Shilpa you can now plan our new outfits that we can wear in IPL 4. Anything you will change? Hahaha."
Though BCCI now plans to move the High Court to challenge this decision, Shilpa and Warnie are already positive about making their presence felt at IPL next season.
